Use your dual to develop the initial explosive sprint...do bilateral and parallel floats with 7.5 pounds on the sled. STAR program for balance in entering the bobsled at speed and maintaining CG on the run.
In the next little while I’ll be posting a new STAR program which gives all the benefits of the one you're using now but with 16 new exercises instead of the 32. Less than 14 minutes to complete...it puts more emphasis on the legs and hip foundation with a new stance. Programs complete but working on the presentation still. This new program will be good for that population.
Back to the bobsled...bilateral floats..alternating hands and feet...15 seconds ....rest three sets.
Parallel floats...feet together or as close as possible for the athlete to maintain balance...3 ~15 sec sets. Try to get the feet together.
